Habakkuk 3:17-19 is one of the strongest manifestations of faith in the scriptures. A friend invited me to go with her to a revival meeting. The sermon was just awesome and spoke to each of us who attended. Here is a part of the sermon which encouraged me to seek the Lord more diligently.
"A hind is a type of mountain deer. They climb all the way to the top of the mountain. They jump with two hoves up into holes and let go and then the back two feet go up exactly where the two front were. The first two hooves test it while the back feet are on something solid. Then the back go where those top feet are.
The Word says the Lord GOD is my strength. It doesn't have to be my strength, it is His strength. He will make my feet like hinds feet, so when I venture out, I put those feet into new ground. We are all called to new ground. Because you came out tonight expecting, and GOD is going to meet you right where you are, and then He is going to take you somewhere else. But, He is waiting for you to put those feet into the new ground and then He is going to make your hind feet to come up and meet those front feet. Then He is going to take you to higher levels and higher levels and higher levels. GOD said it and I believe it." -Part of Sermon at Hope Chapel Revival-
GOD took each person who attended that night, to new levels. The Word of GOD does not lie, it always tells the truth. He promised in His Word He would take us to new heights in Him, if we would only step out in faith and trust Him. -Debi Webster-
