A Prayer In The Midnight Hour | Don't Go To Sleep Without Listening To This

Midnight is a time of transition, it's a time where we change over from one day  into another, and the thing that you should know about midnight is that there are a lot of activities that happen in the spiritual realm around this time.

In Acts chapter 16 verse 25 the Bible says, At midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God, and the prisoners heard them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's bands were loosed.

Exodus 11 verse 4, the bible reads and Moses said, thus saith the Lord, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt. So here the Lord God Almighty waited until midnight to execute judgment on Egypt.

David is another example in Psalm 119 verse 62, the man described to be after god's own heart said, at midnight will I rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

Matthew 25 verse 6 says, And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold the Bridegroom Cometh, go ye out to meet him. so you see there is a significance about the midnight hour.

The Bible says in 2nd Chronicles, chapter 1 verse 7, that night god appeared to Solomon and said to him ask for whatever you want me to give you. Take note that it was at night that a transaction happened between Solomon and God.

And if we read first Thessalonians 5 verse 5, it distinguishes between children of darkness and children of light by saying, You are all children of the light we do not belong  to the night or to the darkness.

When you read these scriptures you really have to ask the Holy Spirit  to open your eyes for discernment, because if ever there is a reason that you need to be praying strongly before you go to bed.  It's because we need God to watch over us, we need God to protect us.

When you fall asleep you are in your weakest state. In the night is when most people are vulnerable to spiritual attacks, and we need to understand that the forces of darkness do just that.  They operate in darkness, both spiritually, and physically in the natural world too.

The devil is cunning and he doesn't play fear. He will wait until you have let your  guard down when you are asleep and defenseless, that's when he will attack. But today we are going to pray that the lord almighty will protect us. We are going to pray for a supernatural covering so that God may block every attack from the enemy. 

And if you're there refuse to have bad dreams and nightmares anymore  lift your faith and believe that god can deliver you refuse to experience sleep paralysis  refuse spiritual attacks. So join me today and pray with boldness and fervent, belief that the lord will deliver us and keep us.

And so let us pray dear lord Jesus you deserve all the glory and all the honor. You deserve all of my praise lord. And at this moment I invite you to come into my heart I invite you to come into my home may your  presence be found in this place. May the presence of the holy spirit be strong in my home.

I ask that you watch over me as I sleep, I ask that you keep me safe. Jesus defend me from every attack of the enemy. Protect me from all trouble and all  unrest that can be found in the middle of the night. Just as Paul and Silas worshiped you in their darkest hour I too will sing praises to your name.  I will sing that you are holy I will say, bless the Lord o my soul and all that is within me bless His holy name.

I will continue to lift your name on high Jesus. Higher than all of my cares and problems, higher than every principality and power of darkness. As the book of Psalms in chapter 57 states, I pray that you be merciful to me O God, for my soul trusts in you, and in the shadow of your wings I will make my refuge until these calamities have passed by. 

I will cry out to God the Most High. To God who performs all things for me. He shall send Heaven and save me. I will go to sleep in peace knowing that you have said in your word that I should not be afraid, for you are with me.  I should not be discouraged because you Jehovah are my God. It's you the creator of all the ages that will strengthen me. It's you, the only one with resurrection power that will help me. 

And so, I speak with the authority that's in the name of Jesus. I will not encounter bad dreams or nightmares, I will not encounter spiritual attacks while I am asleep in Jesus name. Instead Lord, I pray that you give me a sound mind, peaceful, and relaxing rest.  I come before your throne God with a heart that is after your own heart and a mind that is focused on you. 

Keep me in your  arms tonight Lord Jesus. My reality of your love and protection is more real than what my natural eyes can see. I place all of my trust and confidence in you Lord, all of my belief concerning every situation I face, every battle that I face, all of my trust is in you.

I believe you will guide and order my steps. I am praying that you give me an ear that hears you Lord, an ear that is sensitive to your instruction, and to your guidance. Give me eyes that will see your goodness always, and I pray for a heart that will always remain faithful to you.

Lord Jesus, you are the solid foundation that my life has been built on. You are the Son of the living God who died on the cross for my sins. Your blood was shed for me so that I may never be defeated as long as I am your child, and so I have total faith and confidence in your might because even death was powerless to hold you in the grave.

When you watch over me I know that the enemy will be powerless over my life. You are my risen Savior who has the power to resurrect every dead thing, and so today, I receive your resurrection power, and declare that there is no dead thing in my life. There is no evil that can come near me because of the blood of the Lamb of God. The blood that never loses its power, the blood that protects me.

I speak life in all things pertaining to me. I declare that there are no cracks from the  enemy in my foundation because Christ is the solid rock that I stand on. I thank you for hearing this prayer, in the precious name of Jesus  Christ I pray, amen.

So many lives I have blessed...So many lives have blessed me!!! So many lessons I have learned, adventures, and experiences I have had, I Love it all!!! The memories I recall and share are too numerous to count,  ~FULL~  is the word for my life.

I am Grateful for this life I have had and have been given, I LOVE IT! I have been loved and I have loved, there is nothing better, in all the World. 

I am Satisfied, I am content knowing we are all in GOD's loving care, ever ready to move on to the next "Grand Adventure", forever growing.

I will go home, to my "Heavenly Home" someday.  I can go Home now in Peace, in Love, in Hope, in Faith. The "Coming Journey" will be so much better and incredible than the first.

A Powerful Prayer To START and END Your Day

We all need the mercy of God in our lives. It was God's mercy that woke you up  this morning. It's God's mercy that allows each and every breath that we take. It's through his mercy and his grace that we are protected. It's through his mercy and grace that we can find healing, peace, and provision.

I encourage you to repent and turn away from sin because our Lord is a merciful God. In II Chronicles chapter 30 verse 9, the latter part of the verse says, ... For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him, and so stand in agreement with me as I pray.

Let us return to the Lord if you've backslidden, come back to Jesus. If you've sinned repent and come back to Jesus. If you've placed your trust elsewhere,  come back to Jesus. We need the mercy of God over our lives each and every day, and our God is a loving God.  

So let us pray, Lord Jesus, I ask for your mercy and forgiveness upon each and every one who is  listening in agreement. Your word says in the book of Hebrews  chapter 4, Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

For many of us Lord, this is our time of need. We are crying out for you at a time that we need your grace, your unfailing mercy over our lives. We acknowledge you to be the one true God, ruler of all the heavens and the earth, ruler of all the universe. 

And we bow down before you king Jesus, and we say to you, our Lord of Lords, you are great and mighty, but you are also filled with compassion and affection. You are an all-consuming fire, but you are also absolute in your love. While we were yet still sinners you died for us. Lord Jesus, I repent for my sins.

I repent for the sins that I have committed both in my mind and in my actions. Have mercy on me Lord, in your love there is no fear, your perfect love expels all fear. Your word says, that the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. Your mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning. 

Great is your faithfulness, thank you for your new mercies every day. Your mercies which are new every single day, meaning, today's mercies are more than enough for me to overcome today's troubles, and tomorrow's mercies will be more than enough for me to overcome tomorrow's troubles.

Thank you for your unending love, even when we walk away from you Lord and disobey, you still love us. You still have your loving arms open calling us and convicting us to repent and come back to you. Your love is strong and steadfast, so strong that you protect me from the enemy.

So many things could have happened, so many things should have happened, but your love has protected me from battles that are seen and unseen. You have blocked attacks from the enemy that I did not know about, and your grace  continues to sustain me. You are a God who is beautiful beyond description.

As your word says, in the book of Psalms, have mercy on me O' God according to your unfailing love, according to your great compassion. Blot out my transgressions, wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. I thank you for your unfailing love which I do not deserve.  I thank you for your great compassion which I do not deserve.

Our minds do not have the capacity to understand your mercy, you show us unconditional mercy every day. You are patient with us, you are a father who makes us whole again.  I thank you for your divine mercy which always sees us for who we truly are and yet you still care for us. You still love us constantly despite our imperfections, despite how many times we fall.

I offer thanksgiving to you Lord, thank you. Thank you for your son, Jesus Christ who rescued us from sin. So strong was your love that you wouldn't allow sin to separate us from you. Even though sin was a legal sentence that hung over our heads, instead of eternal death, you chose to offer us eternal life.

Your mercy caused you to act in the greatest of ways, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". Thank you for your mercy Lord Jesus which led you to lay aside your glory and come to earth as a man and suffer and die for us so that we may be freed from our misery and eternal destiny.

You came to give us life and life more abundantly. You came to give rest to the weary, you came to set us free, free from every garment of shame. You came to set us free from death, sin and the grave. And now by your resurrected power all things are possible in our lives. 

I thank you because you have clothed us with grace and mercy. You have clothed us with everlasting joy. I bless your Holy name because you are a covenant keeping God, we trust and depend on you, Lord, have mercy on us. When the enemy tries to attack, when he sends his legions against us,  you will be our protector, you will be our strong tower.

Help us to stand firm and know that you are our stronghold in the day of trouble, You are the rock of our salvation. I declare that the Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer. My God, my strength, you are my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Other people may not see our struggles, but you do Lord. Other people may not see our pain, but I am grateful that you do. When the challenges of life are overwhelming, when the trials of life are too hard for us to handle.

Lord, let your mercy be shown to us. We trust you to be our help and comfort in Jesus' name. You see our needs, you see the areas that we lack, and you are a God who provides. I declare that your goodness and mercies shall never depart from me in Jesus' name.

Your word says, "The Lord is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all of his works, you are rich in mercy. Help us to move away from the tendency to think that we can rely on our own strength. Thank you for always welcoming us even in our weakness. Thank you, for always being there even in our brokenness  and desperation. Thank you, for never  turning away from us nor turning a deaf  ear to us.

Lord, you are the fountain of kindness and the giver of grace upon grace. Free us from fear of an uncertain future. You have never given us any reason to doubt your promise, for you are a God who completes every good work that you have begun.

I trust in you Lord and in your unfailing mercy. Let every fear from our lives, from our families lives, be removed. Lord, give us the courage and strength to overcome the enemy. You have promised to always stand by us. You have promised to never leave us nor forsake us, and now we need you more than ever. May your mercy see us through. Let your love surround us.

Thank you for hearing our prayer. I ask that you bless each and every person who is listening in agreement. Father, grant them mercy in their lives. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
