Two Ways You Can Be Led by God

Many of us do not know how to be led of God, partly because we focus on the wrong things or have a preconceived way of hearing His voice. But God is not complicated at all, and He wants to make it as simple as possible for us. The person leading you determines who you are following. For example, Goodness and mercy are supposed to follow you (Psalm 23:6), if something else is following you then you are being led by something else/negative or dark, something other than the Spirit of God.

Understanding How God Leads the Way Today

Hosea 4:6 says “my people perish for lack of knowledge”. Spiritual ignorance is a destroyer and the cheapest way to captivity (Isaiah 6:13, Prov 16:25). We cannot afford to be in the dark, for we are not ignorant of the devices of the devil. There are two main requirements for divine guidance.

Two Requirements For Divine Guidance

Be Full of the Word - Let the word of Christ dwell in your richly (John 1:1-5). The word of God is light (John 1:9), meaning the word of God will lead you. The light lightens and illuminates you. The word of God is a lamp unto our feet and the way (Psalm 119:105, John 4:6) in every situation. If you have the word of God then you know the way. If you know the word of God, you already know which way to God. The word is the way, the truth and the life.

Rejoice in the Lord - Rejoice in the Lord, deliberately cultivate a joyful lifestyle, be joyful for being in Christ. Rejoice in the Lord always, not just for material things. With Joy you shall draw water out of the well of salvation. If you cry  out of depression and go to sleep, you will have dreams of oppression; and if you are not careful you may interpret your dreams wrongly. He that is joined to the living has hope. Always remember that you are joined to the living and nothing should steal your joy. Rejoice in the Lord and access revelation. A fish cannot survive outside water (Psalm 16:11), in the same way, you cannot truly hear God when you are moody and depressed. A buoyant spirit is a good tool for divine direction (Isaiah 61:3, Eph. 5:19)

Supernatural Refreshing

Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to you just the way that I am. I know you understand my need and know exactly how I feel. I approach your throne boldly by the blood of Jesus that gives me access and I have come to ask for the grace to help in the time of need.

• I ask Lord, that your healing power will saturate me now in the name of Jesus.
• I ask for relief from pain, torment, oppression, and anxiety
• I ask for healing of my soul and body
• I ask that you will put the pieces of any part of me that is broken together and in your love restore me to your intended place in the name of Jesus.

Healing is the children’s bread, I receive healing now for my body, soul, and spirit in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father, for hearing me, thank you for restoring me, thank you for answering me. I am healed in Jesus name, Amen.

SPIRITUAL STRENGTH IN PSALMS

Throughout the centuries the Psalms have been a source of personal inspiration and spiritual strength. In the course of dealing with the adversities of life, people are often frustrated by not being able to express adequately their emotional pain or mental anguish. The Psalms release us from that frustration. With emotionally drenched complaints, humble confessions, desperate please, penitent prayers, or screams of pain, the writers of the Psalms skillfully expose and express the yearnings of our deepest thoughts. This use of the Psalms is often the first step toward our own deliverance. By song and Spirit they comfort the lonely, strengthen the weary, bind the brokenhearted, and turn the eyes of the downcast up toward their Creator. Hope returns, faith is renewed, and life again becomes bearable.

PRAYER

As GOD’S OFFICIAL legislator and law enforcement agent I come in the name of the resurrected Jesus, whose I am and whom I serve, “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, things in earth, things under the earth, that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” 

I effect and enforce God’s original plans and purposes over and against the plans and purposes of Satan.  I decree and declare that in this battle no intrinsic, no extrinsic weapon, be it emotional, financial, physical, social, psychological, spiritual, organizational, interpersonal, formed against me shall prosper. I place upon myself the armor of light and of the Lord. Truth to cover my loins, the breastplate of righteousness to cover my heart and chest cavity, the gospel of peace to cover my feet, the shield of faith to defensively and offensively cover my body, the helmet of salvation to cover my head, the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ a robe of righteousness, the glory of God is my reward (Isaiah 58:8)

I decree and declare that the weapons of my warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God. I pull down strongholds, cast down vain imaginations and every high thing that lifts itself against the knowledge of Jesus Christ. My thoughts are now subject to the Lordship of Christ.

I speak that God’s anointing destroys every yoke in my life, and that my soul, my spirit, my body now functions in order according to divine systems of protocol. I decree and declare that I am healed and Spirit-filled, sickness and diseases are far from me. I establish divine parameters, boundaries and borders, and legislate and establish the laws of the kingdom of heaven to govern all activities within.

I overrule and disallow, I veto every diabolical sanction, subverting activity, injunction, directive, mandate, or order, which opposes the will of the Lord concerning my life, my ministry, my finances, my family, Hallelujah. I disannul diabolical decisions and rulings concerning my ministry, and concerning my life, and the lives of family members, my friends, my associates. 

I take control over the airways, the galaxies, systems, realms, regions, domains, spheres, stratospheres, hemispheres, atmospheres. Anything that will affect me negatively. I bring it unto the obedience and the Lordship of Christ, and I decree and declare that those things are aligned. I dispossess master spirits and employ Michael's, archangels, the angelic host to handle any satanic contentions, disputing, strivings, resistance concerning this injunction.

I decree and declare successful divine and angelic undertakings, under girdings, reinforcements, and assistance. According to Your Word in Psalm 103:20, I summon angels that now excel in strength and to marshal and protect my personage and property, and possessions.

Jehovah Gibbor, contend with those that contend with me, fight against those that fight against me. Take hold of the shield and buckler, stand up for my help. Draw out also the spear and javelin and close up the way of those who pursue and persecute me. Clothe yourself in your garments of war. Muster your devices, gather your weaponry and ammunition from your divine arsenal. Make bright your arrows, gather your shields, let vengeance be your ultimate goal as you overthrow the chariots, the horses, the riders. Let terror strike the hearts of my enemies, and cause their hearts to fail. (Psalm 18:7-19)

HEALING PRAYER

Father, You are the great physician who promised that you will place none of these diseases upon us. You are our healer, you are our deliverer, you are our way maker, you are our miracle worker. You said, in Isaiah 53:5 that you were wounded for our transgression, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and with your stripes, we are healed. Father we decree and declare according to 3rd John chapter 1:2, ” Beloved, I wish above all things that you will prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers”. Father, I know that You want me to be healthy. I know you want me to be happy, I know you want me healed, I know you want me to prosper, I know you want me to succeed, I know you want me to walk in optimum health. I know that you want me to live without pain, without hurt, without stress. I know that you want me to live disease free, sickness free, stress free, and therefore I decree and declare according to Your word I am healthy and physically fit. Sickness and disease are far from me, by Your stripes I am healed.

I am healed from every physical, physiological, biochemical, bio-electrical malfunction, from emotional wounds, psychological illnesses, from physical discomfort, from sickness and diseases. I speak Jeremiah 17:14-15 over my life. Heal me, oh, Lord and I shall be healed, save me and I shall be saved for thou art my praise. Behold they say unto me, where is the word of the Lord? Let it come near. You sent your word to heal us from all our diseases. You word is nigh unto me this day. According to Psalm 107:20, I declare that I am healed by the word of the Lord. I speak to every part of my body, be healed.

Spirit of infirmity, loose your hold over my life and the life of my loved ones. Let the fountains of infirmity, affliction, discomfort and pain, dry up now! Let poison and toxins dry out of every part of my body now. Neutralize the negative effects of viruses and bacteria, drugs and medical treatment now! I decree and declare that any and all physiological, biochemical, hormonal, neurological, organic, systemic, cellular or molecular damage sustained from stress, exhaustion, medication, pharmaceuticals, drugs, medical treatment, X-ray, chemo-radiation therapy, monoclonal antibodies, etc. It is reversed now! I speak health and healing over my cells, my organs and systems. I speak healing to my glands, I speak health and healing over my mind. I speak health and healing over my body. 

I speak that my brain is healed. My frontal lobe, my parietal lobe, my Occipital lobe, my temporal lobe, the limbic system, the Pituitary glands, the thalamus and the hypothalamus, amygdala, hippocampus, medulla, oblongata, brain stem, nervous system,Corpus callosum, Cerebrum, Cerebellum, They are all healed and they have come under divine alignment and you are functioning like God has ordained you to function. Father I decree and declare that my mind has been healed, heal my thought processes biochemically and bio-electrically. Let there be no miss firing between the left and right brain. I decree that there is perfect balance in my mind, my body and my life. Heal me emotionally, physiologically, right down to my soul.

Heal me of suppressed emotions, denial, anger, bitterness, rage, loneliness, feelings of isolation, fear, unbelief, doubt, confusion, distress, stress, sadness, depression, frustration, victimization, resentment, blame, abuse, misunderstanding, projection, suggestions, bad report, evil report, negativity, Innuendos, hallelujah that undermine my health and healing. Reverse the atmosphere that I am living in. Remove the tension from out of my house, out of my environment. Heal me of regret, revenge, unforgiveness, jealously, envy, conflict, self hatred, insecurity. Deliver me from the snare of venomous contamination's, emotional blackmail, emotional attachment, soul ties, malicious gossip, spirit of inheritance, toxic and toxic relationships, poisons of the mind, poison of my spirit, pain, discomfort, discouragement, fear of death, confusion, hemorrhaging, hemorrhaging of joy, hemorrhaging of peace, hemorrhaging of my finances, hallelujah! Heal me God of hemorrhaging of natural and spiritual resources. Oh, God heal me. Let there be no more deterioration, disorientation, disillusionment, depression, suicidal thoughts, feelings of isolation, loneliness, fatalism or fatalities, railings, allegation, or death.

Free me from all negative emotions. I shall no longer hold bitterness, or strife or falsehood, or jealously or slander or envy or defiance, or offenses, in my heart, in my soul towards anyone. I release them, I let them go, I forgive them. Father because I recognize all of the negative effects that these emotions and these attitudes have had on my body. Today I choose to let it go. I release offenses, I release bitterness, I release negativity, I release toxic thoughts, I release toxic relationships, I release fear, I release doubt, I release worry, I release bitterness, I release hurt and I say it unequivocally in the name of Jesus, offenses go, bitterness go, negativity go, toxic thoughts go, toxic relationships go, fear go, doubt go,  worry go, bitterness go, hurt go.

Father, I trust You to fight my battle, fight on my behalf, I cannot fight this any longer. Father, I release You, You are the God that wars on my behalf and I release Angels as well. And I decree and declare that according to Psalm 91:1-16 You said in Your word that ”He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  2. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in Him will I trust.  3. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the Fowler, and from the perilous pestilence.  4. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.  5. You shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; I rebuke night fears in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. 6. Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that waste at noon. 7. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.  8. Only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked.  9. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the most High, your dwelling place, 10. No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. 11. For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all you ways. 12. In their hands, they shall bear you up, lest thou dash your foot against a stone. 13. You shall tread upon the lion and cobra: the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. 14. Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known My name. 15. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. 16. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him My salvation.” Father, I decree and declare this entire, hallelujah, portion of scripture over my life.
