I Love You, God

Psalm 18
1 I love you, LORD, my strength.

2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shieldb]">[b] and the hornc]">[c] of my salvation, my stronghold.

3 I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise,
and I have been saved from my enemies.

46 The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock!
Exalted be God my Savior!

49 Therefore I will praise you, LORD, among the nations;
I will sing the praises of your name.

50 He gives his king great victories;
he shows unfailing love to his anointed,
to David and to his descendants forever.

God Most High = El Elyon

The most high God

Strongest of the Strong

Superlative God - surpassing all others

If He is the Most High then what is

His perspective on my problems?

Da 4:34
His Dominion
is everlasting

("Dominion" = supreme authority)

Da 4:34 "But at the end of that period I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever; for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation.

Da 4:35
He Does according to His will

Da 4:35 "And all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, but He does according to His will in the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of earth; and no one can ward off His hand or say to Him, 'What hast Thou done?'

No one can ward off His hand

No one can question
what God does

Baruch Atah Adonai (Blessed art thou oh God)

This is the beginning of nearly all blessings spoken in Hebrew. It is the most common form of praise although there are an infinite number of ways to praise God's name in Hebrew. If you open a siddur (prayer book) which includes an English translation you will find that it mostly consists of thanking and praising God for everything in every way.

The Good News is that the Father Loves Us

The Good News is that the Father Loves us...
He is waiting for us to run to Him.
He is waiting for us to say, I have blown it.
He is waiting for us to say, I need Your help.
He is waiting for us to say, I need Your forgiveness.

The Good News is that the Father Loves us...
He delights in putting His arms around us.
He delights in putting the Robe of Righteousness upon our shoulders.
He delights in putting the Sandals of Peace upon our feet.
He delights in giving us forgiveness when we blow it.
He delights in embracing us.

John 3:16 (Amplified Bible)

16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([a]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
